Notes of raspberry, concord grape and a hint of rose, this light-medium roast has a satisfyingly round body that while it makes a fantastic hot pour over, we also recommend you try this fruit forward roast flash chilled (hot poured over ice).
The two Hassen brothers that run this Benti Nenka site located in the Hambela Wamena region of the Guji Zone oversee the green coffee processing. Straight from the participating farms, the coffee cherries are scanned and sorted by hand for defects before processing starts. While many producers use beds made of cloth and chicken wire to dry the beans, the team at Benti Nenka use flat woven bamboo reeds to promote even drying. Discerning eyes continue to filter out unacceptable beans for 2-3 weeks until they are ready to be packed.
